What do I owe to the world?
Peter Singer is a philosopher who argues that we must help others. If everyone did this, there would be no more suffering in the world. My contribution to the world is writing for others.
Epictetus said that happy life is achieved by those who live morally. I hope my books make you happy.
Ella Maria Quinn
Award-winning writer.
I was born in the wonderful city of Bristol, where I lived in the arms of a loving family. I obtained a university diploma in English Language Studies, then obtained a BA in Education. I have carried out research aimed at discovering the nature and origin of language, its acquisition by children and its use in communication. Though, my first passion is poetry. In fact, I write poetry for Pagine S.r.l., a publishing house in Rome. I am bilingual (English and Italian) due to the fact that I have Italian origins. At an early age I was embedded in an Irish community, where I grew up playing Irish folk music, and therefore, I am fascinated in Irish culture and history. Italian and Irish communities often have similarities, such as the love for the family and the act of giving a hand wherever is needed. After my studies, I moved to southern Italy, where I am currently an English conversation teacher, at a secondary school, near the beautiful valley of the Temples.
